Rumours of my death have been grossely exgagerated.

42- I went to pay my respect on Douglas Adams' grave, my favourite writer, in England. This is not entry 42 without a reason! Just like Zaphod Beeblebrox, I think my third arm suits me.

44- I learned photography with Dean Collins. In my opinion, the greatest lighting teacher and commercial photographer in history.

I visited "restaurants du cœur".

48- I saw the room in Chalon-sur-Saône in 2022 where Nicephore Niepce took the world's first photograph!!!!!!

176- Notre Dame on 16 January 2025, 5 years after the fire. I was one of the first to photograph the fire at Notre Dame de Paris on 15 April 2019.

177- On 13th October 2021: I photographed the Soleil synchrotron in Saclay on 13 October 2021. This is a particle accelerator (electrons) that produces synchrotron radiation, an extremely bright light that can be used to explore inert or living matter.

At first glance, Lieutenant Columbo appears to be a tired and clumsy investigator. However, when he investigates a homicide, no detail escapes him and thanks to his relentless deductions, he manages to trace the murderer.

185- I have a very sharp eyesight. I noticed at a young age that my vision was not the same as everyone else. When we went to photograph whales a long time ago, I was always the first to see the whale moving on the blue horizon. The captain of the boat that took us said he couldn’t see anything. No one else saw the whale, but I was absolutely sure there was a whale spitting water, way out there. We followed my finger, we went there and we saw the whale.

Une Lune géante de 16 mètres de diamètre installée sous la coupole de la Nef sert de décor à la soirée.

Thomas Pesquet, né le 27 février 1978 à Rouen, est un spationaute français. Après une formation d'ingénieur aéronautique, Thomas Pesquet a occupé différents postes dans l'industrie aérospatiale et au Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (CNES) avant de devenir, en 2005, pilote de ligne. En 2009, il fait partie des six candidats retenus pour former le troisième groupe d'astronautes européens sélectionnés par l'Agence spatiale européenne (ESA). Thomas Pesquet est le dixième Français à partir dans l'espace en décollant le 17 novembre 2016 à bord de Soyouz MS-03 dont l’équipage occupe la Station spatiale internationale de novembre 2016 à juin 2017. Durant cette mission, Thomas Pesquet a mené une centaine d'expériences dont la moitié développée par l'Agence spatiale européenne ou le CNES, l'autre moitié par la NASA. Il effectue deux sorties extravéhiculaires de six heures pour des missions de maintenance de la Station spatiale internationale.

Back in the 60's and 70's not a plastic bottle to be seen it was all glass that were reused, pop bottles taken back to the shop. No plastic bags, loose food was brown paper bags, ail sweets were bought in 1/4 1b put in a paper bag. Mothers used shopping trolleys to carry heavy stuff or used a linen bag. You walked to school from 5yo to 16yo not jumping into mummy's 4x4. No McDonald's or Burger King plastic toys, no polystyrene food boxes for you to litter the streets with, we used newspapers to wrap our hot food in. Our milk was delivered at 5 am 6 days a week by a milkman who drove an electric vehicle ! And glass bottles were returned and washed out to reuse. Same with the ice-cream Man . Holidays were in a caravan not an aeroplane to far off destinations.

On peut ouvrir une pellicule complètement avec un décapsuleur de bouteille.

Chargement de la pellicule dans une spire dans le noir complet.
Sur une spire, il existe deux petites marques qui représentent l’endroit où faire entrer le bout de la pellicule. Placez le début de votre film sous ces deux marques et insérez là-dedans. A ce moment, deux billes vont la bloquer légèrement. Vous devez tirer sur votre film pour lui faire passer les billes, qui vont la maintenir en place.

Dans le noir complet, on ne voit donc rien !

Il faut faire des va-et-vient avec un côté de la spire pour faire rentrer

Ne pas jeter les produits usés directement dans l'évier,
c'est mauvais pour l'environnement.



Agitation quand les produits sont dans la cuve.

François CAVANNA (1923-2014). Certaines sont aussi célèbres que des toiles de maître ; d'autres moins connues ont été ressorties spécialement pour le livre. (...) The French comedian Coluche adopted from early an offensive style without, he said, falling into vulgarity. His style was sarcastic and marked notably by his freedom of expression, he became known for taking on taboo topics, and later moral and political values in contemporary society. In 1974, he rose in fame for his parody of a TV game show: Le Schmilblick (skit). In 1984, he was awarded a César for best actor in his dramatic role in Tchao Pantin. Taking turns between provoking and instigating with his social positions, he even ran for president in 1981 before dropping out of the race. Popular and beloved by the public, in 1985 he founded the organization Les Restos du Coeur, a help centre for those living in poverty, several months before he died in a motorcycle accident.

At a small Liverpool movie theater, a 14-year-old Paul McCartney watched the hit film, mesmerized by the energy, talent and charisma of Little Richard, who had a cameo performing “Ready Teddy.” A year later, McCartney met John Lennon, who was performing with his band in the back of a churchyard. The two quickly learned that they shared a love of American rock ‘n’ roll, and both were big fans of “The Girl Can’t Help It.” McCartney’s audition for Lennon even included a rendition of Eddie Cochran’s “20 Flight Rock” from the movie. Lennon asked him to join the band.
The two started practicing together and dabbled in songwriting. When penning tunes, McCartney and Lennon often borrowed a formula that Little Richard had made his trademark: three chords played with a contagious, driving rhythm and blues feel.
George Harrison joined them, along with Lennon’s art school buddy, Stuart Sutcliffe. They started performing together in Liverpool at venues like the Jacaranda and the famed Cavern Club. Staples of their sets included covers of the Little Richard classics “Long Tall Sally” and “Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey.”
As their popularity grew, they were invited to perform residencies as the house band at the Indra and Kaiserkeller clubs in Hamburg, Germany. Playing every night allowed them to hone their live chops; by the time they returned to Liverpool and the Cavern Club, they were seasoned performers, and the crowds at their shows swelled. The next year, they toured the U.K. with Roy Orbison and Del Shannon. And then the group got their biggest break yet: They were asked to be the opening act for Little Richard at the brand new Star-Club in Hamburg in late 1962 for 14 shows.
Little Richard was riding high. From 1956 to 1959, he scored 18 hit singles with his unique combination of wailing vocals, energetic piano playing and flamboyant style.
Not only did McCartney and Lennon get to meet their idol, but they also got to observe and spend time with Little Richard backstage. Little Richard would later recall helping McCartney hone his vocal style in the green room. And once their residency in Hamburg concluded, Little Richard joined the group in Liverpool to see them perform at the Cavern Club. He got a glimpse of what was to come; impressed by the group’s energy, he foresaw success for the band in America.

1963 : On 7 July 1963, The Rolling Stones recorded their first TV appearance on UK TV’s ‘Thank Your Lucky Stars’, and their single ‘Come On’ quickly made the charts. The original lineup consisted of multi-instrumentalist Brian Jones, lead vocalist Mick Jagger, guitarist Keith Richards, bass guitarist Bill Wyman, drummer Charlie Watts, and keyboardist Ian Stewart. Stewart was dismissed from the lineup in 1963 but continued to serve as their road manager and de facto keyboard player. 1965 Jim Morrison, né le 8 décembre 1943 à Melbourne et mort le 3 juillet 1971 à Paris, est un chanteur et poète américain, cofondateur du groupe de rock américain The Doors, dont il fut membre de 1965 à sa mort en 1971. Les circonstances de la mort de Morrison ont donné lieu à de nombreuses spéculations, d'autant plus qu'à son arrivée, Bill Siddons n'a pas vu le corps de Jim Morrison mais le cercueil censé le contenir. Aucune autopsie ni examen n'ont été pratiqués sur le cadavre, la cause officielle du décès étant une simple crise cardiaque. La vie d'excès menée par Morrison pendant six ans (il abusait de l'alcool, participait volontiers à des orgies et se vantait d'avoir pris deux cents fois de l'acide4) accrédite cette version des faits. Des témoins, notamment son ami Alan Ronay, ont rapporté qu'il était suivi de près par un cardiologue et qu'il démontrait des signes d'insuffisance cardiaque et d'œdème pulmonaire et de profonde dépression la veille de sa mort (difficulté à respirer, toux avec rejets sanguinolents, hoquets). La version officielle (entretenue par la succession Morrison et par Patricia Kennaely) de la crise cardiaque dans son bain est la plus répandue, car elle correspond à ce que les pompiers et le médecin légiste ont finalement conclu.
Cependant, des témoins affirment avoir vu Morrison ce soir-là dans un bar parisien branché de la rive gauche, le Rock 'n' Roll Circus. Selon cette version, Morrison, venu chercher de l'héroïne pour Pamela Courson auprès de deux hommes travaillant pour Jean de Breteuil9, dealer alors connu des services de police, aurait délibérément pris de l'héroïne pure et serait mort d'une surdose dans les toilettes du bar. Leonard Cohen, né le 21 septembre 1934 à Westmount et mort le 7 novembre 2016 à Los Angeles, est un auteur-compositeur-interprète, musicien, poète, romancier et peintre canadien.
Son premier recueil de poésies paraît à Montréal en 1956 et son premier roman en 1963.
Les premières chansons de Leonard Cohen (principalement celles de Songs of Leonard Cohen, 1967) sont ancrées dans la musique folk et chantées avec une voix grave. Dans les années 1970, ses influences se multiplient : musique pop, de cabaret et du monde.
Dans tous ses travaux, Leonard Cohen reprend souvent les mêmes thèmes : l'amour-passion, la religion, la solitude, la sexualité et la complexité des relations interpersonnelles. Leonard Cohen assume sa dépression chronique depuis longtemps et ne se l'est ni ne l'a jamais cachée, allant jusqu'à en parler aux journalistes rassemblés à l'occasion de la conférence de presse sur son album Old Ideas.
La poésie et les chansons de Leonard Cohen ont influencé de nombreux auteurs-compositeurs-interprètes et on compte plus de 1 500 reprises de ses chansons. Cohen est introduit au Panthéon de la musique canadienne en 1991, au Panthéon des Auteurs et Compositeurs canadiens en 2006, au Rock and Roll Hall of Fame en 2008. Il est un compagnon de l'ordre du Canada (CC) depuis 2003 et grand officier de l'Ordre national du Québec (GOQ) depuis 2008, les plus hautes distinctions décernées respectivement par le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement du Québec.
Son œuvre poétique a été récompensée par le Prix Prince des Asturies des Lettres 2011.

David Gilmour et Freddy Mercury

1966 John Denver (31 décembre 1943 – 12 octobre 1997), est un chanteur américain, également compositeur, musicien et acteur.
Il est mort à l'âge de 53 ans près de la côte de Monterey en Californie en pilotant un avion Rutan modèle Long-EZ, un avion expérimental en fibre de verre. En 1966, il écrit la chanson Leaving on a Jet Plane, dont l'enregistrement le plus célèbre provient de Peter, Paul and Mary.
Une de ses chansons les plus connues Take Me Home, Country Roads enregistrée en 1971 sera reprise en France d'abord par Marie Laforêt sous le titre « Mon pays est ici » puis par Claude François sous le titre « J'ai encore ma maison », et encore quelques années plus tard par Dick Rivers sous le titre « Faire un pont »



1967 Simon and Garfunkel est un duo américain de folk rock, originaire de Forest Hills, dans Queens, à New York. Il est constitué du guitariste et auteur-compositeur-interprète Paul Simon et du chanteur Arthur Garfunkel. Cependant, une nouvelle version de leur chanson The Sound of Silence connaît le succès sur les ondes américaines en 1965 et atteint la première place du Billboard Hot 100. Le duo se reforme alors et enregistre un deuxième album, Sounds of Silence (1966), qui est rapidement suivi par Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme (1966), album sur lequel le duo prend un plus grand contrôle créatif. La popularité du duo s'accroît avec la bande originale du film Le Lauréat (1967), composée en majeure partie par leurs chansons. Leur album suivant, Bookends (1968), les propulse au rang de stars internationales majeures. Néanmoins, les relations entre les deux hommes se dégradent et le duo se sépare peu après la sortie de leur album suivant, Bridge over Troubled Water (1970), qui est leur plus grand succès commercial.
Simon and Garfunkel comptent parmi les artistes les plus populaires des années 1960 et sont considérés comme des icônes de la contre-culture de cette décennie, au même titre que les Beatles et Bob Dylan. Leurs chansons les plus célèbres, The Sound of Silence, I Am a Rock, Homeward Bound, Scarborough Fair/Canticle, A Hazy Shade of Winter, Mrs. Robinson, Bridge over Troubled Water, The Boxer, Cecilia et El Cóndor Pasa (If I Could), ont toutes connu un très grand succès international. Le Festival de Woodstock (Woodstock Music and Art Fair, ou Woodstock) est un festival de musique et un rassemblement emblématique de la culture hippie des années 1960, organisé à White Lake, dans les montagnes Catskill, dans l'État de New York, sur les terres du fermier Max Yasgur, à une cinquantaine de miles (environ 80 kilomètres) au sud-ouest de Woodstock. Ce qui aurait pu tourner au fiasco par le mélange de drogues et météo désastreuse devient un des plus grands moments de l'histoire de la musique populaire, classé par le magazine Rolling Stone parmi les 50 moments qui ont changé l'histoire du rock 'n' roll, apothéose du mouvement hippie.
Organisé pour se dérouler du 15 au 17 août 1969 et accueillir 50 000 spectateurs, il en accueille finalement environ un demi million, et se poursuivit un jour de plus, soit jusqu'au 18 août 1969 au matin. Le festival accueille les concerts de 32 groupes et solistes de musiques folk, rock, soul et blues. Le budget de rémunération des artistes atteignit au total dix millions de dollars.

Plusieurs morceaux joués durant l'événement deviendront légendaires, comme le Star Spangled Banner (hymne des États-Unis) réinterprété par Jimi Hendrix dans un solo de guitare dans lequel il imite des bombardements de B-52 pendant la guerre du Vietnam, le Soul Sacrifice de Santana avec un solo épique de batterie par l'un des plus jeunes musiciens du festival, le batteur Michael Shrieve (20 ans), le Fish Cheer/I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixing-To-Die-Rag de Country Joe McDonald avec la phrase légendaire : « Give me a F! Give me a U! Give me a C! Give me a K! », I'm Going Home de Ten Years After, With a Little Help from My Friends des Beatles repris par Joe Cocker, l'interprétation de Tommy par les Who et Freedom chanté par Richie Havens.

Peanuts, aussi connu en version française sous les noms de Snoopy, Snoopy et les Peanuts, Snoopy et le petit monde des Peanuts ou Charlie Brown, est un comic strip (bande dessinée) écrit et dessiné quotidiennement, sans interruption et sans assistance, par l'Américain Charles M. Schulz d'octobre 1950 jusqu'à sa mort, en février 2000. Il aura écrit au total 17 897 strips dont 2 506 pages du dimanche.
Peanuts est une série de gags qui tournent autour de deux personnages centraux, un garçon maladroit, malchanceux et dépressif, Charlie Brown et son chien, Snoopy. Le strip s'appuie sur le principe du running gag (comique de répétition) où les mêmes situations entre les personnages reviennent tout au long de la bande dessinée. De plus, chacun des personnages a ses particularités, ses obsessions et ses accessoires propres, qui reviennent chaque fois qu'ils apparaissent.
Peanuts a donné également naissance à des dessins animés, dont plusieurs ont reçu un Emmy Award, à des pièces de théâtres et à des comédies musicales.
Le comic a été, à partir des années 1960, un succès mondial, notamment aux États-Unis. La popularité du strip et le nombre colossal de licences pour des publicités ou produits dérivés ont fait de Charles M. Schulz une des célébrités les plus riches du monde.
À la mort de Schulz, le comic était publié dans plus de 2 600 journaux, dans 75 pays différents et dans 21 langues.

Le travail c'est la santé est une chanson composée et interprétée par Henri Salvador, sur des paroles de Maurice Pon. Elle est sortie en 1965 en vinyle 45 tours, avec les titres Dis, M. Gordon Cooper, Bouli-bouli et Hula-hula.

Compositeur et guitariste, il joua à ses débuts dans des orchestres de jazz français. Sa longue carrière (débutée dans les années 1930), prend une nouvelle dimension lorsqu'il entame à partir de 1948, une carrière de chanteur. Raymond Devos, né le 9 novembre 1922 à Mouscron en Belgique et mort le 15 juin 2006 à Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, est un humoriste franco-belge. Il est resté célèbre pour ses jeux de mots, ses qualités de mime, son goût pour les paradoxes cocasses, le non-sens et la dérision.

Je viens de m'en rendre compte en mettant en route ma lessive du jour : j’ai séparé le blanc des couleurs ! Affligeant ! Et dire que j'agis ainsi depuis des années ! Et circonstance aggravante, avec une lessive qui lave plus blanc que blanc ! C'est pathétique... Comme monsieur Jourdain dans un autre domaine, j'étais raciste sans le savoir !
Du coup, je suis d'une humeur noire. Ça ne va pas arranger les choses...
Oh, je savais que je n’étais pas blanc comme neige. J'ai connu des périodes noires. Dans un précédent emploi, on m'avait donné carte blanche. Résultat, j'ai monté une caisse noire ! Quelques temps plus tard, alors que j'étais déjà connu comme le loup blanc, j'ai travaillé au noir. Découvert, j'ai essayé de montrer patte blanche, mais j'ai été placé sur liste noire. Et comme disait le chanteur, noir c'est noir, il n'y a plus d'espoir !
Alors que faire ? Pour sûr, j'avais mangé mon pain blanc. Je dirais bien que j'ai pleuré à l'arme blanche, mais ça serait de l'humour noir. Alors, dans la glace, je me suis regardé dans le blanc des yeux. Pas question de me retrouver dans une misère noire ! L'avenir restait une page blanche. Inutile de voir tout en noir ! Je pouvais sortir blanchi de tout ce sombre passé. Finis les noirs projets ! Je serais désormais plus blanc que neige ! Finie la série noire !
Et patatras ! Voilà que je me découvre raciste !"

A première vue, le lieutenant Columbo semble être un enquêteur fatigué et maladroit. Pourtant, lorsqu'il enquête sur un homicide, aucun détail ne lui échappe et grâce à ses déductions implacables, il parvient à remonter la piste du meurtrier.

Columbo est une série télévisée policière américaine de Richard Levinson et William Link dans laquelle le rôle-titre, interprété par Peter Falk, est un lieutenant de police en apparence un peu simplet, brouillon et laborieux. Il se révèle en réalité très intelligent, obstiné et perspicace.
L’originalité de la série réside dans le fait que le spectateur connaît l’assassin dès le début de l'épisode. L’intérêt de l’intrigue consiste à découvrir de quelle façon l’enquêteur parviendra à démasquer le criminel.

En France, la première série a été diffusée du 20 décembre 1972 sur la 1re chaîne de l'ORTF au 3 mai 1980 sur TF1, la deuxième série à partir du 7 juin 1992 sur TF1.

Le plus célèbre ustensile de Columbo tiendrait son origine d'une erreur de Peter Falk ! En effet, cet imperméable fut acheté un jour de pluie dans la 57ème rue de New York par Peter Falk lui-même, à l'époque où celui-ci postulait pour le rôle de Columbo dans "Inculpé de meurtre". Le comédien était persuadé que le script qu'il avait lu précisait que Columbo devait porter un imperméable. Selon Link et Levinson, ce script précisait bien le port d'un pardessus, et non d'un imperméable !
L'idée du pardessus fut donc abandonnée car Peter Falk prétexta qu'il serait plus naturel qu'un policier venu de New York porte un imperméable. Falk a toujours porté le même imper pendant le tournage de la série de la première génération, bien qu'il ait existé deux autres "exemplaires" de réserve au cas où. Pour la reprise des tournages de Columbo nouvelle génération, en 1988, le célèbre vêtement étant totalement élimé, un imperméable neuf fut vieilli artificiellement afin de ressembler au maximum à celui d'origine. Bien évidement, Falk garde précieusement chez lui l'imper d'origine.

Le lieutenant conduit une Peugeot 403 décapotable grise dont il n’ôte presque jamais la capote. L'état de la voiture se dégrade au fur et à mesure de l'évolution de la série (au point d'avoir un aspect délabré et contrastant de manière comique avec les véhicules souvent luxueux de ses interlocuteurs).

Dans plusieurs épisodes, Columbo est accompagné de son basset hound qu’il appelle « le Chien » à défaut de lui avoir trouvé un prénom qui le fasse réagir (débattu dans l'épisode Symphonie en Noir). L'animal entre en conflit avec son maître lorsqu'il est laissé dans sa voiture, que ce soit pour le faire taire ou l'empêcher de souiller les sièges.

Le lieutenant évoque fréquemment « sa femme » pour justifier certaines de ses conclusions (par exemple les horaires de tournée des glaciers ambulants dans l'épisode Le grain de sable). Il la présente comme la compagne idéale.

Columbo ne porte jamais d’arme et ne semble pas être une fine gâchette. Il prétend même avoir horreur des armes. Dans l'épisode La femme oubliée il prend le risque de perdre son badge pour éviter d'aller au stand de tir. Il se rend le moins possible au service médico-légal, ne supportant pas la vue des viscères et autres échantillons que le médecin légiste tient souvent à lui montrer. Il n'a pas une condition physique excellente. Comme le lui fait remarquer dans un épisode le meurtrier qu'il traque, malgré un patronyme dérivé de celui du grand navigateur, Christophe Colomb, il a facilement le mal de mer ainsi que le vertige. En outre, il ne sait pas nager. Il n'incarne donc pas le policier américain modèle.

De nombreux acteurs ont participé à cette série, on note ainsi : Johnny Cash, John Cassavetes, Faye Dunaway, Jamie Lee Curtis, Patrick Macnee, Patrick McGoohan, Little Richard, William Shatner, Martin Sheen, Rod Steiger, Dick Van Dyke, Jeff Goldblum, etc ...

Le premier épisode, le livre témoin (Murder by the Book) a été réalisé par Steven Spielberg.

Pierre Richard, de son vrai nom Pierre Richard Maurice Charles Léopold Defays, est un acteur, réalisateur, scénariste et chanteur français, né le 16 août 1934 à Valenciennes. Devenu une vedette comique du cinéma français au début des années 1970, il connaît ses plus grand succès en interprétant des personnages burlesques, rêveurs et gaffeurs : il est à plusieurs reprises François Pignon (ou François Perrin) dans les films de Francis Veber. Il est souvent surnommé « Le Grand Blond » depuis le film Le Grand Blond avec une chaussure noire.

Plusieurs morceaux joués durant l'événement deviendront légendaires, comme le Star Spangled Banner (hymne des États-Unis) réinterprété par Jimi Hendrix dans un solo de guitare dans lequel il imite des bombardements de B-52 pendant la guerre du Vietnam, le Soul Sacrifice de Santana avec un solo épique de batterie par l'un des plus jeunes musiciens du festival, le batteur Michael Shrieve (20 ans), le Fish Cheer/I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixing-To-Die-Rag de Country Joe McDonald avec la phrase légendaire : « Give me a F! Give me a U! Give me a C! Give me a K! », I'm Going Home de Ten Years After, With a Little Help from My Friends des Beatles repris par Joe Cocker, l'interprétation de Tommy par les Who et Freedom chanté par Richie Havens.

Le téléphone électrique est une invention attribuée, selon les sources à Antonio Meucci, à Elisha Gray ou à Alexander Graham Bell en 18761; il est conçu pour transmettre la voix à longue distance.
Depuis 1876, le téléphone a connu de nombreuses évolutions.
C'est dans les années 1980 qu'une véritable innovation va apparaître: le téléphone va désormais posséder un clavier à touches numériques qui remplace le cadran. C'est une invention due à John Karlin des Bell Labs. Dans un premier temps, jusqu'au milieu des années 1980, cette innovation est purement ergonomique. Elle réduit le risque d'erreur de numérotation, permet au téléphone de prendre des formes plus variées et de composer automatiquement des numéros pré-enregistrés. Mais la numérotation continue à se faire par impulsions comme avec un cadran. Dans un second temps, le clavier permet d'introduire la numérotation par fréquences vocales qui augmente considérablement la rapidité de numérotation et apporte de nouveaux services : serveurs vocaux interactifs, services téléphoniques à valeur ajoutée (signal d'appel, transfert d'appel, conversation à trois), interrogation à distance de son répondeur-enregistreur.










Stanley Kubrick réalisa avec Lolita une œuvre fascinante, car osée, tragique et burlesque à la fois. En effet, le film est profondément dérangeant par l'histoire qu'il relate, celle d'un homme mûr fou amoureux d'une jeune adolescente, à tel point qu'il serait prêt à tuer pour rester à ses côtés. Par ailleurs, si Lolita est un drame, on y trouve plusieurs scènes à fin comique qui font mouche, et c'est là que le long-métrage subjugue : le réalisateur est parvenu avec brio à façonner des ambiances antagonistes dans un même film et le résultat est stupéfiant. Kubrick, comme toujours, a choisi avec attention et exactitude ses acteurs : James Mason incarne de manière brillante l'amoureux possessif, Sue Lyon interprète quant à elle magnifiquement Lolita, mais c'est surtout Peter Sellers qui excelle à mon sens, irrésistible en journaliste délirant et mystérieux.
S. Kubrick s'empare du célèbre roman de V. Nabokov en adaptant "Lolita". Drôle par son cynisme, délicat par son érotisme, et plus dramatique en évoquant la jalousie, le film possède une richesse de tons et de thèmes qui le fait devenir singulier. Fascinant sur un bon nombre de points, notamment dans le portrait de Humbert (remarquablement joué par J. Mason), homme naïf et minable, et dans le mystère qu'il apporte sur le personnage de Claire Quilty, dont les apparitions sont rares mais déterminantes. Quant à Lolita, sa figure laisse plus de questions que de réponses. Fille libertine, rebelle, manipulatrice, ou tout simplement normale ? Kubrick joue continuellement avec cette problématique en ayant lui-même une certaine admiration devant ce personnage, mais aussi pour Sue Lyon absolument époustouflante. Et sans une dernière partie moins enlevée, nous parlerions certainement d'un chef-d'œuvre.

In rough estimation, I take 5,000 photos a week. 5,000 x 52 = 260,000 a year. For 35 years = 9,100,000 photos. Well, I would like to reach 10 million anyway!
